Our certified technicians have seen it all. If your appliance is showing any of these symptoms, don’t wait — call us today.

Refrigerator-icon

Not Heating at All

The most common dryer complaint. Causes include a blown thermal fuse, failed heating element (electric), or faulty igniter/gas valve (gas dryers).
Dishwasher-icon

Taking Too Long to Dry

Clothes not dry after a full cycle? A clogged lint trap or exhaust vent, a weak heating element, or a malfunctioning cycling thermostat are common culprits.
Range-icon

Loud Squealing or Thumping

Squealing usually means worn drum support rollers or a dry drum bearing. Thumping can point to flat rollers, a worn belt, or foreign objects in the drum.

Drum Not Turning

If you hear the motor running but the drum won’t spin, the drive belt has likely broken. If nothing runs, the motor or start switch may have failed.

Won't Start At All

A dryer that doesn’t respond at all may have a blown thermal fuse, bad door switch, failed start switch, or a faulty control board.
Range-icon

Overheating or Shutting Off

Dryers that run too hot or shut off mid-cycle often have a blocked vent system, failed cycling thermostat, or a malfunctioning high-limit thermostat.

Error Codes on Display

Modern dryers display codes that point to specific failures — we diagnose and repair control board, sensor, and motor issues across all brands.

Drum Seals Worn

Worn front or rear drum seals allow hot air to escape, reducing efficiency and sometimes causing clothes to snag on the cabinet opening.

Our Diagnostic Process

What We Inspect & Fix

Every service call starts with a thorough diagnostic. We check every component so nothing gets missed — and you get an honest upfront quote before we touch a thing.

Heating Element (Electric)

Test element for continuity; inspect for breaks or burn marks.

Gas Igniter & Valve Coils

Check igniter glow and gas valve solenoid coil resistance on gas dryers.

Thermal Fuse & Thermostats

Test thermal fuse, cycling thermostat, and high-limit thermostat continuity.

Drive Belt & Idler Pulley

Inspect belt for wear or breakage; check idler pulley tension and condition.

Drum Rollers & Bearings

Spin drum rollers by hand; listen for roughness or flat spots on bearings.

Blower Wheel & Vent System

Remove lint from blower wheel; inspect full exhaust duct for blockage.

Door Switch

Test door switch continuity — a failed switch prevents the dryer from running.

Motor & Start Switch

Test motor windings and start switch function for no-start conditions.

How much does a dryer repair cost?

Our pricing is straightforward and fully transparent:

$159 Minimum Repair Charge per appliance ($199 on military bases)
Parts and any additional labor are extra and will be fully itemized in your estimate before any work begins.

$89 Estimate-Only Charge per appliance ($129 on military bases)
This applies only if you choose not to proceed with repairs. Discounts do not apply to this charge.

10% Military Discount applies to labor charges for active-duty and retired military. Discount does not apply to rental properties.

What warranty comes with a repair?
Every repair includes a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue returns within 90 days due to the repair or parts, we come back at no charge. A lifetime warranty on parts is also available for an additional charge — ask when we provide your estimate. Warranties do not apply to rental properties.
What if I get an estimate but decide not to repair?

If you choose not to proceed after our technician diagnoses the problem, the estimate-only fee of $89 per appliance ($129 on military bases) applies. Discounts do not apply to this charge. If you do move forward with the repair, only the repair charge applies.

How soon can you come out?

We strive to schedule service as quickly as possible — often same-day or next-day depending on availability. Call or text Nikki at (719) 494-1588 and she’ll get you on the calendar fast.

My dryer runs but doesn't heat — what's wrong?

For electric dryers, a failed heating element is the most common cause. For gas dryers, it’s usually a bad igniter, failed gas valve coils, or a blown thermal fuse. Both are straightforward repairs we handle regularly.

My dryer takes 2–3 cycles to fully dry a load — is that a repair issue?

Yes. The most common causes are a clogged exhaust vent or a partially failed heating element. A severely clogged vent is also a fire hazard — don’t wait on this one.

Can you repair gas dryers?

Yes. Our technicians are certified for both gas and electric dryers.

My dryer starts then shuts off after a few minutes — why?

This is typically a blown thermal fuse caused by overheating — usually from a clogged vent duct. We’ll replace the fuse and address the vent so it doesn’t happen again.
