Range-icon

Burner Won't Light or Ignite

Gas burners that won’t click or light often have a dirty or faulty igniter, a clogged burner cap, or a failing spark module.
Dishwasher-icon

Oven Not Reaching Temperature

If your oven runs too cool, too hot, or inconsistently, the bake element, broil element, or oven temperature sensor is likely the culprit.

Electric Burner Not Heating

A coil or smooth-top electric burner that won’t heat usually needs a new burner element, infinite switch, or surface unit connection.
Refrigerator-icon

Oven Takes Too Long to Preheat

Slow preheating points to a weak or failing bake element, sensor, or oven control board that isn’t cycling the element correctly.
Dishwasher-icon

Gas Smell or Igniter Clicking Constantly

A continuously clicking igniter or gas smell (without lighting) means the igniter, spark electrode, or gas valve needs immediate attention.

Oven Not Turning On At All

Completely dead oven? We check the thermal fuse, control board, clock/timer, and electrical connections to pinpoint the failure.

Control Panel or Display Issues

Error codes, unresponsive touchpads, or blank displays indicate a failed control board, relay board, or touchpad membrane.

Oven Light Not Working

A burned-out bulb, bad socket, or faulty door switch can leave you guessing what’s happening inside your oven.

Our Diagnostic Process

What We Inspect & Fix

Every service call starts with a thorough diagnostic. We check every component so nothing gets missed — and you get an honest upfront quote before we touch a thing.

Bake & Broil Elements

Test both elements for continuity, visible damage, and correct wattage.

Gas Igniters & Burner Valves

Inspect igniter glow strength; test gas valve solenoids and burner flow.

Oven Temperature Sensor

Measure sensor resistance at room temperature to verify calibration.

Control Board & Timer

Diagnose electronic range control, relay board, and clock functions.

Surface Burners & Switches

Test infinite switches on coil tops; check smooth-top elements for breaks.

Door Gasket & Hinges

Inspect oven door seal for heat loss; test hinge tension and alignment.

Spark Ignition Module

Test spark module output; clean or replace spark electrodes and wires.

Thermal Fuse & Safety Valve

Check thermal fuse continuity; inspect safety valve operation on gas units.

How much does a dryer repair cost?

Our pricing is straightforward and fully transparent:

Parts and any additional labor are extra and will be fully itemized in your estimate before any work begins.

$89 Estimate-Only Charge per appliance ($129 on military bases)
This applies only if you choose not to proceed with repairs. Discounts do not apply to this charge.

10% Military Discount applies to labor charges for active-duty and retired military. Discount does not apply to rental properties.

What warranty comes with a repair?
Every repair includes a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue returns within 90 days due to the repair or parts, we come back at no charge. A lifetime warranty on parts is also available for an additional charge — ask when we provide your estimate. Warranties do not apply to rental properties.
What if I get an estimate but decide not to repair?

If you choose not to proceed after our technician diagnoses the problem, the estimate-only fee of $89 per appliance ($129 on military bases) applies. Discounts do not apply to this charge. If you do move forward with the repair, only the repair charge applies.

How soon can you come out?

We strive to schedule service as quickly as possible — often same-day or next-day depending on availability. Call or text Nikki at (719) 494-1588 and she’ll get you on the calendar fast.

My gas burner clicks but won't light — what's wrong?

A burner that clicks but won’t ignite usually has a faulty igniter or a dirty/clogged burner cap. Both are quick fixes. If you smell gas without ignition, stop using that burner and call us right away.

My oven isn't reaching the right temperature — is it the element?

On electric ovens, a failed bake element is the most common cause. On gas ovens, it’s usually the igniter. A faulty temperature sensor or control board can also cause this — we’ll diagnose accurately before recommending any parts.

Is it safe to use my range if I smell gas?

No — do not use the appliance if you smell gas. Turn it off, ventilate the area, and call us. Gas odor near a range is urgent and is usually a faulty gas valve, damaged burner, or igniter issue.

Do you repair both gas and electric ranges?

Yes. Our technicians are certified for both gas and electric appliances including slide-in and freestanding ranges.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all metro Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Black Forest, Monument, Palmer Lake to County Line Road, and east to Peyton Highway. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, just call and we’ll confirm.
