Common Dishwasher Repair Issues

Our certified technicians have seen it all. If your appliance is showing any of these symptoms, don’t wait — call us today.

Refrigerator-icon

Not Cleaning Dishes

Dishes coming out dirty or gritty? Clogged spray arms, a failed wash pump, or a worn door gasket can all reduce cleaning power dramatically.

Water Not Draining

Standing water at the bottom of the tub after a cycle means a blocked drain hose, clogged filter, faulty drain pump, or bad check valve.
Range-icon

Leaking Water

Puddles under or in front of the dishwasher often stem from a worn door gasket, faulty door latch, or cracked wash arm seal.

Loud Grinding or Rattling Noise

Unusual sounds during a wash cycle usually indicate a failing wash pump motor, worn spray arm, or debris caught in the chopper blade.

Not Starting or No Power

If the dishwasher won’t start, we inspect the door latch, thermal fuse, control board, and touchpad for failure.

Not Heating Water

Cold water means dirty dishes. A faulty heating element, high-limit thermostat, or control board can prevent water from reaching wash temperature.

Not Drying Dishes

If dishes come out wet, the heating element, vent, or fan motor may have failed — or the rinse aid dispenser could be empty or faulty.

Door Latch or Lock Issues

A dishwasher won’t run if the door latch doesn’t engage fully. We repair or replace door latches, strike plates, and lock mechanisms.

How much does a washer repair cost?

Our pricing is straightforward and fully transparent:

per appliance ($199 on military bases)
Parts and any additional labor are extra and will be fully itemized in your estimate before any work begins.

$89 Estimate-Only Charge per appliance ($129 on military bases)
This applies only if you choose not to proceed with repairs. Discounts do not apply to this charge.

10% Military Discount applies to labor charges for active-duty and retired military. Discount does not apply to rental properties.

What warranty comes with a repair?

Every repair includes a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue returns within 90 days due to the repair or parts, we come back at no charge. A lifetime warranty on parts is also available for an additional charge — ask when we provide your estimate. Warranties do not apply to rental properties.

What if I get an estimate but decide not to repair? ▾

If you choose not to proceed after our technician diagnoses the problem, the estimate-only fee of $89 per appliance ($129 on military bases) applies. Discounts do not apply to this charge. If you do move forward with the repair, only the repair charge applies.

How soon can you come out?

We strive to schedule service as quickly as possible — often same-day or next-day depending on availability. Call or text Nikki at (719) 494-1588 and she’ll get you on the calendar fast.

My washer won't spin — what's the most common cause?

A washer that won’t spin is often due to a broken drive belt, failed lid switch (top-load), or a door latch issue (front-load). It could also be an out-of-balance load triggering the safety switch. We’ll pinpoint the exact cause quickly.

My front-load washer smells musty — is that fixable? ▾

Yes. The most common cause is mold buildup in the door boot seal. We can replace the seal and advise on preventing recurrence through proper maintenance habits.

My washer stops mid-cycle and won't restart — what's happening?

Mid-cycle stoppages are often caused by a failing lid/door switch, a tripped thermal overload, or a control board issue. We’ll diagnose and fix the root cause — not just clear an error code.

Do you repair both top-load and front-load washers?

Yes. We service all configurations including top-load, front-load, and high-efficiency (HE) models across all major brands.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all metro Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Black Forest, Monument, Palmer Lake to County Line Road, and east to Peyton Highway. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, just call and we’ll confirm.

What forms of payment do you accept?
